YM High Adventure 2024
We will spend 3 days and 3 nights camping at Johnson Shut-ins State Park in Missouri. We will visit a total of four state parks on our trip. These parks and surrounding areas offer swimming, climbing, canoeing, and hiking. Check out some of the trip highlights below. Basic Information
Meals: Main meals ( breakfast, lunch, and dinner) will be provided by the ward. The youth will take turns helping to prepare and clean each meal. If campers have a special diet, please let us know and plan to supplement where needed.
Snacks: campers should bring personal snacks if desired.
Fees: The $75 fee covers canoe rental, rappelling class, meals, and all activities.
Facilities: Restrooms with showers are located at the campground. There is limited power for charging phones at the campground.

Johnson Shut-ins
This area in the river has natural water slides and pools that provide hours of swimming fun. Read more here.

Boulders the size of buses provide lots of climbing and passages to explore. Read more here.
Black River CanoeingÂ
A day on the crystal clear Black River with canoes and kayaks. Read more here.

We will have a professional rappelling class off the 100-foot cliffs at Robinson Bluff. Read more here.
Mina Sauk Falls
Mina Sauk Falls, Missouri's tallest waterfall, is also on top of Missouri's highest peak, Taum Sauk Mountian. Read more here.
